Ever have one of those weeks. Well, this has been a doozy. I normally love my job, but this week it was all I could do to work my 32 hours (Holiday Pay covered the other 8). Yesterday I looked at the clock and it was only 1:00 and I had no idea what I was going to do for 3 hours. Of course, I figured out something and stayed busy.
Today wasn't much better, then my boss asked me to do a simple task. Should have taken only an hour or so, hahaha. Four hours later I smiled at him and said woohoo I am done. I get home from work and feel crazy when I walk in the door. Not sure why. :0)
Tonite the Ladies Friday Night Bible Study starts and that should be fun. Then it is a mad dash to get daughter ready for camp next week. Laundry laundry laundry. Hmmm I wonder if we could wash our clothes on the river bank, using rocks to scrub them.
My friend Kelly (she's the best) and I am not just saying that, has this idea. Maybe we could just move to the river for the summer and she could guide one of those rafts, and witness to people. She would have a captive audience. It looks better everyday. We could get a big house, kids(hers and mine) would have some fun, I would still work so that I wouldn't have to be around the kids. Just joking.
Sunday mornings floating on the river, reading scripture would be pretty awesome. Too bad reality kicks in every so often and reminds me that life isn't always fun, but maybe it should be a bit better than it is. Maybe God will direct me in that. I am still waiting for His guidance but I think that I need to work harder at being a Christian before I worry about anything else.
Oh and by the way, next time you buy a Christmas Tree, ask the guy/gal what they do in the summer time.

River village? Membership fees?? The only fees I know of to be part of the "village" is to babysit children while mother is "guiding" a raft. :)
